Lost Nations is designed to be played without tracking. We do not sell your data, we display no advertising and we send you no marketing messages. This policy describes the data we process, why we process it, and the rights available to you.

We limit collection to what is strictly necessary for the game to work:
No real name, no precise location, no access to your contacts, no advertising tracker. Your identity as a player is limited to your service number; other players never see who you are, nor your email address.
In nation decisions we count the votes but never record who voted for what. This is a design choice, intended to prevent players from being targeted by one another.
Your data is neither sold nor passed on to advertising third parties. The only recipients are the technical processors that are strictly necessary, listed here in full:
This website sets no cookie, uses no analytics tool and loads no external resource: the typefaces are served from the domain itself.
One single item is kept in your browser: the display language you pick yourself from the drop-down menu, stored under the key lostnations.langue in local storage. It serves only to restore your language on your next visit, holds no identifier, is never sent to our servers and disappears if you clear the site's data in your browser. Nothing is written unless you change the language.
Your data is hosted by Supabase on servers located in the European Union (Paris region). Cloudflare, RevenueCat, Apple and Google are established in the United States: transfers to those providers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to which they adhere.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time from the My account screen: your email address, your service number, your group memberships and your decisions are then erased. Accounts inactive for a long period may be deleted automatically.
We implement reasonable measures to protect your data. As no system is infallible, in the event of an incident affecting your data we will inform the persons concerned in accordance with the applicable regulation.
The game is for people aged 13 or over. This condition is checked once, at sign-up: in the app by ticking a box, on this website by a date of birth asked for the sole purpose of that check. It is neither stored, nor transmitted to our servers, nor written to your browser: the check happens entirely on your device and the value disappears as soon as you leave the page. We therefore keep no data relating to your age.
We deliberately collect no special category data and no data beyond what is described above. A parent or legal guardian may request the deletion of a minor's account using the deletion function built into the application, the Delete my account page on this website, or by contacting us.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection in respect of your data. Erasure is available directly in the application (My account, then Delete my account). You may also exercise your rights by contacting us.
For any request concerning your data: [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), the French data protection supervisory authority, or with the supervisory authority of the Member State in which you reside.
This policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published here and referenced in the application. Significant changes will be notified.
